3 STEPS TO STONE PATH IN YOUR POND
There are several rules that should be remembered when choosing the material from which we will make a stone passage:
⠀
STEP ONE
The top surface of the stones should be flat and treated to ensure anti-slip properties. One of the solutions is to roughen the stones by grooving or applying anti-skid preparations on their surface.
⠀
STEP TWO
It is also important that the surface of the stone is homogeneous so that the foot can be safely positioned.
⠀
STEP THREE
The individual steps should be raised above the water level by a minimum of 5 cm. The elements should be placed at similar distances that allow comfortable step positioning.
⠀
The steps should not be wobbly, because it could lead to unexpected falling into the water. The stabilization of such stone blocks depends on the type of material the water reservoir is made of.
